General Conditions

1. Definitions
"Service" means the Skorio application and website operated by Torfo. "User" means any individual who registers for or uses the Service. "Free plan" means the no-cost tier described in section 4. "Pro plan" means the paid annual upgrade described in section 4. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Torfo.
2. Scope and acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these General Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these conditions; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
3. Account registration and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Users under 16 years of age require verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before registering, in accordance with GDPR Article 8 as implemented in the Netherlands (UAVG Article 16). If you become aware that a child under 16 has registered without parental consent, please notify us at support@skorio.app.
4. Description of the service and plans
Skorio is a board-game session tracking application. The Free plan provides core features at no cost. The Pro plan (€25 per year, one-time annual payment via Stripe) adds advanced statistics and tournaments. Prices are in EUR and inclusive of applicable VAT. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
5. EU right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you have the right to withdraw from a digital-content purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. However, by requesting immediate access to the Pro features upon payment you expressly agree that performance begins immediately and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is thereby forfeited once the digital content has been made available to you, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
6. Pro upgrade and expiry
Pro is a one-time annual upgrade. When your 12-month access period expires, your account automatically returns to the Free plan. No automatic charge is made and no further action is required from you. You may upgrade again at any time via your account settings.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to harass others, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or to upload malicious content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.
8. User content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of any game data you enter. By entering data you grant Torfo a limited licence to store and display it as part of providing the Service. The Skorio name, logo and software are the intellectual property of Torfo.
9. Availability and disclaimer
We strive for high availability but provide the Service on an "as is" basis without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Torfo's liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
11. Changes to these conditions
We will notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
